Add Kb Update To Wsus Server Diagnostic Tool

I'm running 1710 with hotfixes on Windows Server 2016. When i go to configure SUP Categories, it gives me warnings about using the Upgrade classification and hotfixes 3095113 and 3159706. The 309113 hotfixes seem to be limited to Windows server 2012 but I still get the warning. The hotfix itself does not say it won't run on Windows Server 2016. 3159706 is for Windows servicing on Windows 10 1607 and later.

Again, the update appears to be limited to Windows Server 2012 with no references to Windows Server 2016. Checking the documentation, it says (no reference to Windows Server 2016 and again 3095113 seems to indicate it only applies to Server 2012): • Upgrade: Specifies an upgrade for Windows 10 features and functionality. Your software update points and sites must run a minimum of WSUS 4.0 with the to get the Upgrade classification. So the question, Running CM 1710 with hotfixes on Windows Server 2016 using the WSUS feature on that OS - are these or other hotfixes required to support all SUP classifications?

The KB will appear in WSUS list of updates after the update check has run on each workstation/server, and you can approve/schedule it accordingly. And for SBS servers, the KB update can be found in the SBS Console (Security –> Updates) for scheduling.

Hi， Windows server 2016 could ignore this reminder directly. However, you may find that there are no Windows 10 options in products tab, you don't need to worry about it. You could click 'Synchronize Software Updates' in the SCCM console Software Library Software Updates All Software Updates before select any Classifications and Products in the Software Update Point Component Properties. It will soon complete the synchronization library, you could see the processes in the syncmgr.log. Then you will see the Windows 10 options in products tab.

I was facing this issue before Dont worry update this massage,,,,,,,,,, do this:- i was go to WSUS and Stop Sync the go to option from WSUS then add Wind 10 and Win server 12+16. After that Go back to to SCCM - Administration- Site Configuration - Sites - Configure site Components - Software Update Point - Classifications - (select Update and Upgrade Ignore the massage about HOTFIX )- reopen Software Update Point - Products (you will find all is listed even windows server 2019). And you can go to SOFTWARE LIBRARY and Make SYNC again. GOOOOOOOOOD LUCK.
