Hey people, I prefer the mouse over a controller, but i heard people talking about playing with a controller. There is no support inbuild ingame, but i found this program that basicly changes the game.
Program: files you need: How to play black ops 2 with a controller ( xbox wired controller tested and works ) 1: Open up xpadder and black ops 2. 2: Open the xpadder profiles that you downloaded from the mediafire link. 4: Keep xpadder open and go to black ops 2. 5: Click a button and the controller will be detected, 6: R*pe people with your controller I got this working with a xbox controller, i did include a ps3 image, but idk if it works. Well on the PC, if you (in general) are going to use a controller, you need something quicker and smoother and that would be a PC controller by Logitech with the Logitech Profiler software. Xpadder is a cheaper alternative, but it won't measure up overall to Profiler software by Logitech. The only downfall is that their Profiler only works for their controllers, but for years, it has been better than the rest. The second closest software to map keys is Pinnacle. A 360 controller will probably be much slower here and I have tried it myself. I can't do much with it on the PC (I've seen video of someone playing with it on PC just fine though), but I prefer looser sticks that lets you move at the speed you need to because the 360 controllers don't have 'looseness' and flow to them. Better to use a PC controller (Logitech) and map your own keys.
Look you're doing it wrong. Go to the microsoft store, look for the xox controllers, download the provided drivers. Once downloaded, you can use the xbox controller for any game as long as you have a wired 360 or for the wireless an adapter. As for PS3 you need a ps3 and a usb to connect it to the PC. Download motionjoy. Once running connect ps3 controller, go to driver manager, chose the slot that the controller shows up in. Click on load driver, and after it installs the dirvers, click home and choose 360 emulator.
