Again, I figure the D4 will rock for him, I have a SIM card for it and he has memory cards. As far as fiddling with roms goes, I have enough experience to root 4.1.2 (Jellybean) and rock with Mike Reid's Spirit1 app. I haven't ever overclocked or fiddled with settings like that, since I prefer the stock roms usually.
